1. an IRC client, such as Irssi, Konversation, KVIrc, Miranda-NG, mIRC, Pidgin, WeeChat
, XChat
2. a Furnet server you want to try, or simply use /server irc.furnet.org 6667 to be randomly assigned
3. to type (when connected to Furnet) /join #foxie and we shall bid you welcome to our midst!
